FAQs
The session fee is for my time and talent from the beginning to the end. Our planning session, the photoshoot, and post production of the photos, and ordering session is covered in that fee. The session fee is required to get you officially on my calendar. Most clients' average total investment including prints/products starts at $1000. The $400 print/product credit can be applied to your purchases.
As a print/product focused photographer, my goal is to give you more than just digital images to sit on your hard drive or in your phone's photo gallery. I will take the task off your plate of having to design an album or print your images and you will walk away with tangible pictures to fill your home with and to pass down to your future generations. BUT! Complimentary matching digitals are provided for the prints you order. Don't want tangible photos? No problem! Digitals can be purchased!
The sooner, the better! 3 weeks ahead of your chosen date is preferred. This gives us time to work through all the details as far as location, wardrobe, and any other elements needed to make your session perfect! However, at least 48hrs ahead a session is required.
While I specialize in family photography, exclusive newborn photography is not my jam. I will of course capture you with your children of all ages, but I don't offer newborn sessions. I highly recommend that parents look for a dedicated, trained, and skilled newborn photographer to capture their newest additions.
With my style of photography, I mix a combination of posed and guided candid shots. There will never be a "say cheese" moment. Natural expressions and smiles and laughter are my goal.With this style, it takes the pressure or intimidation off of the children and I am able to get capture different moments that show off all that cuteness of your little shy ones. I am sure to always get a few smiles out of them– at least one!
All images are professionally edited with attention to enrichment of colors, removing skin blemishes and stray hairs, and lite skin smoothing. It is highly encouraged to work with a professional makeup artist for your photoshoot. We have a preferred vendor list upon request. Any additional editing/alterations outside of what is offered, may be subject to additional fees.
Once our session is complete, we will schedule your review and ordering session where you will get to love on, select your favorite images and purchase the prints and albums of your choice! Depending on your print order, expect 3-4 weeks for the delivery of your photos. Your complimentary or purchased digitals will be available within 2 weeks of your order session. Your balance must be paid in full before receiving any digitals or prints/products.
